Το Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus με χαρά ανακοινώνει την επίσημη έναρξη της νέας Σχολής Arts, Media & Communication. Τα προγράμματα BSc (Hons) Media Production, BSc (Hons) Web Design & Development, BA (Hons) Fashion Design, BA (Hons) Graphic Design και MA Graphic Design, έχουν σχεδιαστεί για να συνδυάζουν θεωρητική γνώση και πρακτική εμπειρία, εξασφαλίζοντας ότι οι απόφοιτοι είναι κατάλληλα προετοιμασμένοι για την εφαρμογή δεξιοτήτων σε πραγματικές συνθήκες. Έτσι, διασφαλίζεται ότι οι απόφοιτοι δεν θα είναι μόνο καλά ενημερωμένοι για τις τρέχουσες πρακτικές, αλλά και έτοιμοι να ηγηθούν και να καινοτομήσουν στους τομείς τους.
Ο κοσμήτορας της Σχολής Arts, Media & Communication, Δρ Χρίστος Καρπασίτης, ανέφερε: «Είμαστε ενθουσιασμένοι για την επίσημη έναρξη της λειτουργίας της νέας Σχολής Arts, Media & Communication στο UCLan Cyprus. Αυτή η πρωτοβουλία σηματοδοτεί μια νέα εποχή για το Πανεπιστήμιό μας. Η αποστολή μας είναι να επιτρέψουμε στους φοιτητές της Σχολής να διαπρέψουν τόσο δημιουργικά όσο και ακαδημαϊκά, να παράγουν έρευνα και καλλιτεχνικό έργο με αντίκτυπο, συμμετέχοντας έτσι ενεργά στους κλάδους τους και στην κοινωνία. Η δέσμευσή μας επικεντρώνεται στην προώθηση ίσων ευκαιριών, διαφάνειας και αποδοχής, διασφαλίζοντας ότι κάθε φοιτητής έχει την ευκαιρία να επιτύχει. Με την προώθηση και ενθάρρυνση της έρευνας, της δημιουργικότητας, της κριτικής σκέψης και της καινοτομίας, στοχεύουμε στη μεταφορά γνώσης όχι μόνο εντός της Σχολής μας, αλλά και στην ευρύτερη κοινότητα και αγορά, τόσο στην Κύπρο όσο και στο εξωτερικό».
Η νέα σχολή διαθέτει υπερσύγχρονες εγκαταστάσεις, συμπεριλαμβανομένων καινοτόμων στούντιο, εργαστηρίων και εξοπλισμού. Οι εγκαταστάσεις περιλαμβάνουν εργαστήρια υπολογιστών υψηλών προδιαγραφών, πλήρως εξοπλισμένα στούντιο τηλεοπτικής παραγωγής, φωτογραφίας και παραγωγής οπτικοακουστικών μέσων, στούντιο σχεδιασμού, ατελιέ και εργαστήρια μόδας, τα οποία δημιουργούν μια καθηλωτική μαθησιακή εμπειρία.
